H.E. Ms. Sophia Nyamudeza, Ambassador of Zimbabwe to Ethiopia & Permanent Representative to the AU, paid a courtesy call on AUC Chairperson H.E. @ymahmoudali & affirmed Zimbabwe’s support for the Chairperson’s leadership.

The Chairperson highlighted Zimbabwe's pivotal role as SADC Chair, particularly in regional peace efforts, including in eastern DRC, in close coordination with the AU.

The Chairperson also commended Amb Nyamudeza for her contributions to AUC institutional reform & expressed interest in exploring avenues to strengthen the role of the African Fertilizer Development Center in Zimbabwe in advancing the continent’s agricultural transformation.
