18th Ordinary Session of the Summit of the African Union
The 18th Ordinary Session of the Summit of the African Union is scheduled to take place as follows:
Dates: 23 to 30 January 2012
Venue: Addis Ababa, Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia;
Theme: The theme of the Summit is: “Boosting Intra-Africa Trade”
Specific dates for the meetings of the different AU organs during the Summit will be as follows:
23-24 January 2012: 23rd Ordinary Session of the Permanent Representatives Committee (PRC);
26-27 January 2012: 20th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council
29 – 30 January 2012: 18th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union.
