PRESS CONFERENCE OF MRS BIENCE GAWANAS, COMMISSIONER FOR SOCIAL AFFAIRS

Within the framework of the 19th AU summit, Mrs Bience Gawanas, Commissioner for Social Affairs will, on Friday 13 July 2012 at 15h00, hold a press conference at the Briefing room1 of the new AU Conference Center in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

During the press Mrs Gawanas will address the following issues:

- Update on CARMMA
- Human trafficking
- Drug trafficking and abuse
- African Cultural Renaissance
- Update on child welfare in Africa
- HIV/AIDS
