Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – 27 April 2016: The Ambassador of the Republic of Togo to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union, H.E. Mr. Ekpao Nokali, has bid farewell to the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma. The outgoing Togolese Permanent Representative to the AU met with the AU Commission Chairperson at the AU Headquarters on Wednesday 27 April 2016.

He expressed great appreciation to the Chairperson and the Commission for the support during his tenure of office. He lauded the Chairperson for her leadership in delivering Africa’s development Masterplan, Agenda 2063.

Amb. Nokali also briefed the Chairperson on Togo’s state of readiness to host the Maritime Summit scheduled for October 2016.

On her part, the AU Commission Chairperson, appreciated the Ambassador and Togo’s support to the Commission, and wished him the very best in his feature endeavours. She pledged the Commission’s continued support and collaboration with his successor.
