The Chairperson of the AU Commission H.E. @ymahmoudali held a productive meeting with H.E. Fahad Alhumaydani, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Ethiopia and the AU. They discussed strengthening the longstanding and excellent partnership between the AU and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Chairperson commended the Kingdom’s continued support for development and humanitarian efforts across the continent, as well as the successful convening of the Saudi-Africa Summit. H.E. Alhumaydani reaffirmed his government’s commitment to deepening cooperation with the AU and conveyed an invitation from the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Chairperson to undertake an official visit to Riyadh to explore new avenues of collaboration.
