The Chairperson of the AU Commission @ymahmoudali received H.E. Fatima Maada Bio, the newly appointed President of the Organisation of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD), accompanied by Deputy President Mrs Ana Dias Lourenço, during a courtesy visit at the AUC headquarters.

The OAFLAD delegation formally presented their renewed mandate & expressed their commitment to deepening collaboration with the AUC in advancing key development priorities. On his part, the Chairperson underscored the pivotal role of women’s leadership in shaping Africa’s future & commended OAFLAD for its visionary work in promoting gender equality, maternal & child health, & the fight against HIV/AIDS.
He reaffirmed the AUC’s full support and pledged to actively champion OAFLAD’s initiatives.
