H.E. @ymahmoudali, the Chairperson of the AU Commission met with the UN Special Envoy for the Great Lakes Region, Mr. Huang Xia, to exchange on mediation efforts in Eastern DRC & the broader region. They underscored the importance of ensuring  regional & international peacemaking initiatives are coordinated & coherent, & reaffirmed their shared commitment to a robust AU-UN partnership in support of the region’s pursuit of peace, stability, and development.
