The Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC), H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, extends his sincere congratulations to H.E. Khaled El-Enany, former Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on his election as Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

H.E. Youssouf applauds H.E. El-Enany’s exemplary track record in leadership and public service, particularly in the fields of culture, education, and heritage. He expresses his strong confidence in H.E. El-Enany’s ability to lead UNESCO with vision and dedication at a time when international cooperation is more essential than ever.
