AUC Chairperson received the credentials of H.E. Mr. Gia Matcharadze, Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of Georgia
H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the AU Commission, today received the credentials of H.E. Mr. Gia Matcharadze, Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of Georgia & Permanent Representative to the AU.
The Chairperson noted that Africa & Georgia share common experiences & can draw mutual benefit through enhanced cooperation & exchange.
Ambassador Matcharadze conveyed his appreciation to the Chairperson & reaffirmed Georgia’s strong commitment to deepening its partnership with the African Union and its Member States.
