AUC Chairperson received H.E. Ricklef Beutin, Permanent Representative of the Federal Republic of Germany
The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf today received H.E. Ricklef Beutin, Permanent Representative of the Federal Republic of Germany to the United Nations & Chairperson of the UN Peacebuilding Commission (PBC), accompanied by other members of the PBC, at AU Headquarters in Addis Ababa.
Discussions centred on developments across the continent & on avenues to further enhance coordination in conflict prevention, mediation, & post-conflict reconstruction, within the framework of a strengthened strategic partnership.
The visit forms part of the 8th Annual Consultative Meeting between the AU Peace and Security Council (AUPSC) & the UN Peacebuilding Commission.
