Togo, First AU Member State to Submit State Report on African Charter on Democracy, Elections and Governance

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – 27 March 2017: The Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission H.E. Moussa Faki Mahamat congratulates the Republic of Togo for being the first State Party to submit a Report on the implementation of the African Charter on Democracy, Elections and Governance (ACDEG).
“I commend the commitment of the Republic of Togo for abiding with its reporting obligations under Article 49 of ACDEG.” H.E. Moussa Faki remarked.
