Gaborone, Botswana – 13 October 2017. The Department of Trade and Industry of the African Union Commission in partnership with GRV Global, an Event Management Company organized the third Edition of the Africa Mining Summit under the theme: “Reviving Africa Mining Products”. The Summit comprised of a two-day conference which included, Keynote presentations and panel discussions on all aspects related to the Continent’s ongoing mining and mineral resource development efforts.

The mobilisation of domestic resources is improving steadily in African countries, according to new data from Revenue Statistics in Africa 2017 released today in Addis Ababa at a meeting of tax and finance officials from 21 African countries hosted by the Department of Economic Affairs of the African Union Commission (AUC).
