Tenth (10th) African Union Gender Pre-Summit to Kick Off At the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa
Addis Ababa, 12 Janvier 2018 – Holding under theme: “Winning the Fight against Corruption: A Sustainable Path to Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment in Africa”, the Tenth (10th ) African Union Pre-Gender Summit will take place from Wednesday 17 to Thursday 18 January 2018, at the African Union (AU) Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The event will hold in the Small Conference Hall 4 , New Conference Center of the AU under the leadership of H.E. Moussa Faki Mahamat, Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC).

Addis Ababa, 10 January 2018 – “By declaring 2018 the African Anti-Corruption Year, the African Union (AU) policy making organs have given a strong push forward in our collective efforts towards a peaceful and secure Africa… Indeed Corruption kills”, underlined the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC), Moussa Faki Mahamat, in the introductory chapter of the concept note on the African Union (AU) theme of the year 2018 : “Winning the Fight against Corruption: A Sustainable Path to Africa’s Transformation”.

Three new Ambassadors have presented their Credential Letter to the AU Commission Chairperson
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – 09 January 2017: Three new Ambassadors to the African Union presented on Tuesday, 09 January 2018, their letters of Credence to H.E. Mr. Moussa Faki Mahamat, Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission during an audience granted by the AUC Chairperson at the AU Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. They are: one new Permanent Representative from Ethiopia and two Non-AU Members States Ambassadors from New Zeeland and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
