African Union Commission Chairperson approves the deployment of an election expert mission to observe the Presidential run-off election in Niger

Addis Ababa, 17 March 2016: The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Her Excellency Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, has approved the deployment of a team of six (6) election experts to follow up on the Presidential run-off election in the Republic of Niger, scheduled on 20 March 2016.

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – 16 March 2016: “Water is the source by which Africa’s development can be driven,” says the African Union Commission Chairperson, Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, in her remarks at the closing session of Ministers of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene meeting that held on 15 and16 March 2016 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Addis Ababa, 16 March 2016: The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Her Excellency Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, has approved the deployment of a team of six (6) election experts to follow the re-run elections in Zanzibar scheduled on 20 March 2016.

Cairo, Egypt, 5 March 2016- African energy stakeholders met at a 5-days for the “2nd Africa Smart Grid Forum and 5th African Electro-technical and Standardisation Commission (AFSEC) General Assembly” to develop cooperation at the continental level, towards the development of Smart Grids on the continent and to support AFSEC to achieve its mandate in key areas such as awareness creation, especially in the national levels on the importance of standardization, accreditation and measurement.
