Midrand,South Africa, 25th November 2015:The African Union Commission, the Pan African Parliament in collaboration with International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA) are holding a continental consultation that will help promote constitutionalism and Rule of Law on the Continent .The consultation serves as a way forward towards engagement of African parliaments and relevant stakeholders to promote constitutionalism and rule of Law in Africa.

Luanda, Angola – 26 November 2015- The African Union Commissioner for Rural Development and Agriculture, Rhoda Peace Tumusiime has called on governments and the private sector to join efforts in support of the coffee industry in Africa for inclusive growth, jobs and income opportunities for women and the youth on the continent. Mrs. Tumusiime said this when she addressed the opening session of the 3rd African Coffee Symposium in Luanda Angola on 24th November 2015.

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – 25 November 2015: The new Ambassador of Belgium to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union, H.E. Mr. Didier Nagant de Deuchaisnes, has presented his Credentials to the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC) Chairperson, Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma. The letter of credence was presented on Wednesday, 25 November 2015, at the AU Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Khartoum, Sudan, 25th November, 2015: Experts from AU Ministries of Gender and Women’s Affairs convened for the First Specialized Technical Committee (STC) on Gender and Women’s Empowerment (GEWE), which kicked off, today 25th November 2015, in Khartoum, Sudan. The 1st STC is convened in implementation of the AU Heads of States and Government decision to establish the STC-GWE by 2015.
