Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the AU Commission, reiterated the urgent imperative of an immediate #ceasefire as a prerequisite for unhindered humanitarian assistance, while underscoring that an inclusive, Sudanese-owned dialogue remains the only credible avenue towards a sustainable resolution of the conflict. He further apprised participants of the AU-led Global Political Dialogue to be launched in October.
