Traditional, religious and civil society leaders of Africa gathered in Addis Ababa on the 19th of October, to confirm their commitment to join hands with the African Union Commission, the United Nations and the Spotlight Initiative, and taking bold action to end child marriage, female genital mutilation (FGM) and other harmful practices.

WHAT:          The African Union Commission (AUC) department of Political Affairs, Peace and Security (PAPS) at the African Union Commission (AUC) and the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR) will host the fifth Edition of the African Transitional Justice Forum virtually on 20 to 21 October 2021. The Forum is an annual multistakeholder platform aimed at reviewing the state of Transitional Justice (TJ) in Africa.
