Nouakchott, 30 août 2018 – Sous la conduite de SEM Albert Pahimi PADACKÉ, ancien Premier Ministre de la République du Tchad, les 30 observateurs de la Mission d’Observation Electorale de l’Union Africaine (MOEUA) pour les élections législatives, régionales et municipales du 1er septembre 2018 en République Islamique de Mauritanie sont déployés ce jeudi 30 août 2018 dans les 13 régions et districts du pays, à savoir : Adrar, Assaba, Brakna, Dakhlet Nouadhibou, Gorgol, Guidimagha, Hodh Ech Chargui, Hodh El Gharbi, Inchiri, Nouakchott, Tagant, Tiris Zemmour et Trarza.

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 24 August 2018- H.E Amira Elfadil, Commissioner for Social Affairs of the African Union (AU), in her capacity as the acting Chairperson of the AU Commission welcomed H.E Tran Dai Quang, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the African Union on Friday 24 August 2018. The Vietnam President was heading a powerful delegation to discuss possible cooperation ties between Vietnam and the African Union Commission (AUC).

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 24 August 2018- H.E Amira Elfadil, Commissioner for Social Affairs of the African Union, in her capacity as the acting Chairperson of the AU Commission welcomed H.E Mr. Gerd Mueller, Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development, Federal Republic of Germany to the African Union. Both parties discussed areas of cooperation. The meeting took place in the presence of the Commissioner for Human Resources Science and Technology (HRST), Prof. Sarah Anyang Agbor, and other high officials of the AUC.

August 28, 2018 (Luanda, Angola) — The Angolan Government yesterday launched a critical phase in their agriculture agenda by undertaking the process of domesticating the AU Malabo Declaration commitments into their National Agriculture Investment Plan (NAIP).
