Nouakchott, 30 août 2018 – Sous la conduite de SEM Albert Pahimi PADACKÉ, ancien Premier Ministre de la République du Tchad, les 30 observateurs de la Mission d’Observation Electorale de l’Union Africaine (MOEUA) pour les élections législatives, régionales et municipales du 1er septembre 2018 en République Islamique de Mauritanie sont déployés ce jeudi 30 août 2018 dans les 13 régions et districts du pays, à savoir : Adrar, Assaba, Brakna, Dakhlet Nouadhibou, Gorgol, Guidimagha, Hodh Ech Chargui, Hodh El Gharbi, Inchiri, Nouakchott, Tagant, Tiris Zemmour et Trarza.

Conformément à la Constitution du 11 decembre 2010, le Président du Sénat assurera l’intérim du Président de la République dans le contexte de l’élection présidentielle prévue le 7 novembre pour le 1er tour et le 19 décembre 2018 pour le deuxième tour.

In February 2017, the Interfaith Dialogue on Violent Extremism (iDove) pilot project was co-launched by the African Union Citizens and Diaspora Directorate (AUC-CIDO) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to highlight the importance of the soft power of religion in the field of preventing violent extremism (PVE) through innovative youth-led approaches.
