Agenda 2063 is the blueprint and master plan for transforming Africa into the global powerhouse of the future. It is the strategic framework for delivering on Africa’s goal for inclusive and sustainable development and is a concrete manifestation of the pan-African drive for unity, self-determination, freedom, progress and collective prosperity pursued under Pan-Africanism and African Renaissance.

H.E President William Samoei Ruto (PhD), President of the Republic of Kenya and the African Union Champion on Institutional Reform. H.E. Ruto was appointed during the 37th Assembly of Heads of State and Government in February 2024 to champion the AU Institutional Reform process taking over from the H.E Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda who led the implementation of the reform process since 2016.

The event to be held on the margins of the 37th AU Ordinary Summit at 0800hrs EAT at the African Union Headquarters, underscores Africa’s commitment to enhancing the continent’s financial sovereignty and addressing long-standing challenges associated with the three international credit rating agencies.
The African Union Commission on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, signed a partnership agreement with Music In Africa Foundation (MIAF), a non-profit organization dedicated to using developmental projects to supporting the African music sector. This partnership is aimed at strengthening the African music sector, protecting artists and advancing its role in driving economic and sustainable development.
On Wednesday 29th January 2025, the African Union (AU) and the All-Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) formalized its long-standing partnership in promoting Africa's creative and cultural industries, particularly in the field of music. The MoU aims to strengthen the already existing partnership since 2014, when AFRIMA launched its first Award ceremony that honours exceptional African musical talents and promoting African music at the international stages.
The 10th African Day of School Feeding (ADSF), themed "A Decade of Nourishment: Celebrating the Past, Securing a Just Future," will convene from February 28th to March 1st, 2025, in Bangui, Central African Republic.
To tackle the persistent challenges of malnutrition and food insecurity in Africa, the African Union Commission (AUC) in collaboration with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) convened the High-Level Stakeholder Roundtable to advance the implementation of the Cost of Food and Nutrition in Africa (COFAN) studies.
