Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 31 January 2018 - The AU-EU-UN Task Force on the Stranded Migrants situation in Libya held the Seventh meeting of the Task Force in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The meeting was chaired by the Special Envoy of the Chairperson, H.E. Madam Amira Elfadil, and Commissioner for Social Affairs and attended by the AU Special Representative for Libya and Head of the AU Liaison Office in Libya now based in Tunis, Tunisia. The meeting was also attended by the EU Ambassador to the AU and the directors from the IOM and UNHCR.

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia 29 January 2018:- Prof. Victor Harison, Commissioner of Economic Affairs of AUC and Mr. Mario Pezzini, Director of the OECD Development Centre and Special Advisor to the OECD Secretary General on Development held a Joint Press Conference at the AUC Headquarters on the margins of the 30th AU Heads of State and Governments Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The event was preceded by the signing on 28 January 2018 of a Host Agreement of STATAFRIC (a Pan-African Institute for Statistics which will be based in Tunis).

Addis Ababa, 30 January 2018: The Commissioner for Political Affairs, Amb. Minata Samate Cessouma, addressed the Partners’ Roundtable on the African Anti-Corruption Year (Project 2018, which was organized by the African Union Advisory Board on Corruption (AU-ABC).
