Sao-Tomé, le 16 Juillet 2021 - Dans le cadre du déroulement de l’élection présidentielle le 18 Juillet 2021 en République de Sao-Tomé et Principe, le Président de la Commission de l’Union Africaine (CUA), Son Excellence Monsieur Moussa Faki Mahamat, a dépêché une Mission d’Observation Electorale de court terme dans le pays.

La Mission est composée des responsables d’institutions en charge des élections, des membres d’organisations de la Société civile ainsi que les fonctionnaires de l’Union africaine

People of São Tomé and Príncipe both in the country and diaspora head to the polls to elect their future President

São Tomé, São Tomé and Príncipe July 17th 2016: In a country of 200,000 inhabitants almost 101,164 Sao Tomeans in the country and 10,058 in the diaspora began voting today 17th July 2016, around the 311 existing polling stations to elect their future President for the next five years. Following a three day training, the AU observers will observe the opening of the polling stations and the voting process.

São Tomé, São Tomé and Príncipe, 12th July 2016 – As the African Union recognises that protecting the integrity of the electoral process is fundamental to the consolidation of the democratisation process in Sao Tome and Principe a three-day orientation and briefing programme for observers from 12-14 July 2016 has kicked off on 12th July 2016.
