Ambassador Dr. Namira Negm officially launched the African Migration Observatory (AMO) website during the Member States Briefing, on the 19th of February, 2025, marking a major step toward AMO’s accomplishment & ongoing projects. She highlighted AMO’s key milestones and achievements since its establishment, emphasizing its role in strengthening evidence-based policy-making, regional cooperation, and informed decision-making on migration. The newly launched website will serve as a central hub for information and knowledge sharing, reinforcing AMO’s commitment to advancing migration governance on the continent.
