The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, received in audience H.E. Julia Pataki, Ambassador of Romania to Ethiopia and to the African Union.
Their discussions focused on strengthening the partnership between Romania and the African Union Commission, particularly in areas such as education, peace and security, and food security. The Chairperson expressed appreciation for Romania’s longstanding and growing relations with African countries.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation and enhancing mutual exchange of expertise across strategic sectors.
