39th AU Summit Online Registration for Journalists Now Open

The Information and Communication Directorate (ICD) of the African Union Commission (AUC) hereby announces that the online registration for journalists interested to cover the 48th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and the 39th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the AU Heads of State and Government scheduled to take place from 11th - 15th February 2026, has been launched on the AU website. These two sessions will be preceded by that of the Permanent Representatives Committee.

President Félix Tshisekedi Tshilombo to exchange views on developments in the Great Lakes region. He reaffirmed the AU’s support for the DRC’s territorial integrity and its commitment to the Washington and Doha processes, as well as to regional dialogue.
