Addis Ababa, 28 October 2017:  The Government of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire submitted to the African Union a Note Verbale, in accordance with the relevant Union decisions on the participation of States in the African Union-European Union Summit. This decision reaffirmed by the meeting of the Executive Council, held in Addis Ababa on 16 October 2017.

Addis Ababa, 27 October 2017: The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat, condemns the attack perpetrated on 26 October 2017 against a logistic convoy of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) on the road between Tessalit and Aguelhok, during which three Chadian peacekeepers were killed and two wounded.
