Agenda 2063 is the blueprint and master plan for transforming Africa into the global powerhouse of the future. It is the strategic framework for delivering on Africa’s goal for inclusive and sustainable development and is a concrete manifestation of the pan-African drive for unity, self-determination, freedom, progress and collective prosperity pursued under Pan-Africanism and African Renaissance.
H.E. Mr. Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, was appointed to lead the AU institutional reforms process. He appointed a pan-African committee of experts to review and submit proposals for a system of governance for the AU that would ensure the organisation was better placed to address the challenges facing the continent with the aim of implementing programmes that have the highest impact on Africa’s growth and development so as to deliver on the vision of Agenda 2063.

The Africa Union Commission has allocated funds from member states for the Demolishing and Renovations of Building- A in the AUC Headquarter compound and now invites sealed bids from eligible and potential bidders who has experience in the area of the assignment.
Bidding is open to level III and above Building or General Contractors.
Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address below between 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday starting from April 16, 2019 up to May 17, 2019.
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before May 17, 2019 Time: 3:00pm Addis Ababa Time. Bidders shall not have the option of submitting their bids electronically.
All bids must be accompanied by: Bid security of 50,000.00 ETB or equivalent amount in the form of CPO, Bank Guarantee or Certified Check.
Valid and renewed licence for 2019
Valid Tax Certificate
Level III and above Building or General Contractors.

Bids will be opened on: - May 17, 2019 Time: 3:30pm Addis Ababa Time in the presence of bidders or bidders’ representatives who choose to attend, at the address below. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened to bidders.
