It is the strategic framework for delivering on Africa’s goal for inclusive and sustainable development and is a concrete manifestation of the pan-African drive for unity, self-determination, freedom, progress and collective prosperity pursued under Pan-Africanism and African Renaissance.
H.E President William Samoei Ruto (PhD), President of the Republic of Kenya and the African Union Champion on Institutional Reform. H.E. Ruto was appointed during the 37th Assembly of Heads of State and Government in February 2024 to champion the AU Institutional Reform process taking over from the H.E Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda who led the implementation of the reform process since 2016.

WHAT: G20–Africa High-Level Dialogue on Debt Sustainability, Cost of Capital, and Financing Reforms
The Presidency of the G20, the Republic of South Africa, in collaboration with the African Union (AU), will convene a G20–Africa High-Level Dialogue on Debt Sustainability, Cost of Capital, and Financing Reforms under the theme “Strengthening the G20 Partnership with Africa.”
The African Union (AU) and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (the Global Fund) today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to deepen collaboration in support of African countries’ efforts to end AIDS, TB and malaria, strengthen health systems, increase domestic resource mobilisation and advance health security and sustainable development across the continent.

The Pan African University (PAU) is an initiative of the Heads of State and Government of the African Union. It is a Premier continental university network whose mission is to provide quality postgraduate education geared towards the achievement of a prosperous, integrated and peaceful Africa.
From 2014 to date, PAU issued 2549 certificates. This involves 856 females and 1693 males from 50 Members States.
The African Union Commission deployed a Humanitarian Assessment Team composed of humanitarian experts voluntarily nominated by Member States, and led by H.E. Amb. Amma A. Twum-Amoah, Commissioner for Health, Humanitarian Affairs, and Social Development, and H.E. Amb.
