Hague, Netherlands 6th September: International Court of Justice (ICJ) at The Hague held the hearing for advisory opinion on ‘Legal consequences of the separation of the Chagos Archipelago from Mauritius in 1965’ from 3-6 September 2018.In accordance with the Schedule of the Court for the oral hearings, African Union presented its statement on 6th September 2018 as follows:

Addis Ababa, 12 September 2018 – The Sixth Retreat of the Executive Council opened today, 12 September 2018 at the African Union (AU) headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. For two days, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and External Relations from the African Union Member States, will brainstorm on the progress made on the AU Reform as well as consider the key reform issues and challenges so as to agree on the specific outcomes that this reform process should deliver.
