Bujumbura, Burundi 20 November 2017 - A regional advocacy meeting on the promotion of ratification of the African Charter on the Values and Principles of Decentralization, Local Governance and local Development for the Central Africa Region held in Bujumbura, Burundi to discuss issues and agree upon actions and recommendations aimed at sensitizing and engaging AU Member States from Central Africa Region on the importance of the ratification of the Charter.
Over 25 delegates attended the three-day (3) meeting which will have the following outcomes:

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 24 November 2017- The African Ministers in charge of Communication and Information Technologies and Postal Services Conference concluded today in Addis Ababa in their Second Ordinary Session of the Specialized Technical Committee on Communication and ICT (STC CICT-2) from 23-24 November 2017. Ministers discussed and made decisions on continental and regional programmes that impact Africans in the communications and ICT sectors.

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – 20 November 2017 – The African Union Commission (AUC) celebrated the Africa Industrialization Day on 20th November 2017 at the AUC Headquarters. The celebration was organized by the Department of Trade and Industry of the African Union Commission in partnership with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the Pan African Chamber of Commerce.
