Addis Ababa, 6 June 2018: The Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat, undertook a visit to West Africa from 27 to 31 May 2018, which took him successively to Togo, Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. He was received by Presidents Faure Gnassingbé, in Lomé, on 28 May; Nana Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in Accra, on 30 May; and Alassane Ouattara, in Abidjan, on 31 May 2018. This visit is part of his regular interactions with Heads of State and Government of the Member States on issues related to the implementation of the continental agenda.
 

Dakar, Senegal – 4 June 2018 - The 6th Meeting of African Union Ministers of Trade (AMOT) concluded today in Dakar, Senegal after two days of deliberation. The meeting was preceded by the 11th meeting of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Negotiating Forum and the 6th meeting of the Committee of Senior Trade Officials (STO).

Addis Ababa, 4 June 2018: The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat, met, yesterday, with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Leonard She Okitundu. The meeting focused on the situation in the country and ongoing efforts to organise elections at the end of the year.
