Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 24 April 2018: The 1st African Union (AU) and the United Nations (UN) High Level Dialogue on Human Rights was convened in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on 24 April 2018 as part of the longstanding commitment to strengthen ongoing collaboration between both institutions.
The Dialogue was co-chaired by H.E. Mr. Moussa Faki Mahamat, Chairperson of the AUC and H.E. Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

Nairobi, 23 April 2018: The Department of Political Affairs (DPA) of the African Union Commission (AUC) in collaboration with the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) has organized a training workshop on electoral boundaries delimitation for the National Independent Electoral Commission (NIEC) from 23 to 25 April 2018 in Nairobi, Kenya. The multi-stakeholder training workshop drew Somali participants from the NIEC, Ministries of Constitutional and Interior Affairs, the Boundary and Federal Commission, Office of the Prime Minister, among others.
