Mombasa, Kenya 23 April 2018: A technical meeting on the preparations for the 5th edition of the All Africa Public Service Day (AAPSIA) and the review of the draft reporting guidelines on the implementation of the African Charter on the Values and Principles of Public Service and Administration kicks off on 23 April 2018 in Mombasa, Kenya.

Nairobi, 23 April 2018: The Department of Political Affairs (DPA) of the African Union Commission (AUC) in collaboration with the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) has organized a training workshop on electoral boundaries delimitation for the National Independent Electoral Commission (NIEC) from 23 to 25 April 2018 in Nairobi, Kenya. The multi-stakeholder training workshop drew Somali participants from the NIEC, Ministries of Constitutional and Interior Affairs, the Boundary and Federal Commission, Office of the Prime Minister, among others.

Addis-Ababa, 18 April 2018, under the aegis of the Commissioner in charge of Human Resources, Science and Technology (HRST), the Pan-African University (PAU) today, held the meeting of its regional steering committee. The steering committee is a statutory meeting held within the framework of African Development Bank’s funding to the Pan-African University. Havana, Cuba; 15 April 2018: Ambassador Kwesi Quartey, the Deputy Chairperson of the African Union Commission described his official visit to the Caribbean nation of Cuba as successful, as he concluded his visit on Sunday. The official visit largely focused on education and skills training, health and strengthening the historic ties between the African Union and Cuba.
