It is the strategic framework for delivering on Africa’s goal for inclusive and sustainable development and is a concrete manifestation of the pan-African drive for unity, self-determination, freedom, progress and collective prosperity pursued under Pan-Africanism and African Renaissance.
H.E President William Samoei Ruto (PhD), President of the Republic of Kenya and the African Union Champion on Institutional Reform. H.E. Ruto was appointed during the 37th Assembly of Heads of State and Government in February 2024 to champion the AU Institutional Reform process taking over from the H.E Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda who led the implementation of the reform process since 2016.

August.12.2015 – August 14.2015 Capacity building workshop to support Internet Service Providers in Western Africa to become Regional Internet Carriers in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
A capacity building workshop aimed at building the business and technical capacity of selected Internet Service Providers (ISP) to become Regional Internet Carriers is conducted for Western Africa Region from 12 -14 August 2015 in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.
The three day workshop includes but not limited to the following topics:
Detailed analysis of the regional interconnection policy
How to leverage on the regional interconnection policy to competitively build across-the region
Peering and interconnection economics for Internet carriers
Identifying staffing requirements for regional internet carriers
How to leverage on technological advancements to enhance regional internet carrier business strategy
Identifying investment requirements for regional internet carriers (infrastructure and equipment)
How to develop strategic partnerships for cross-border interconnection
