Djibouti, 19 February 2018 – In the context of the upcoming legislative elections scheduled to take place on 23 February 2018 in the Republic of Djibouti, H.E Mr. Anicet-Georges Dologuélé, Head of the African Union (AU) Elections Observation Mission, and former Prime Minister of the Central African Republic has embarked on meeting all the political, administrative and judicial authorities of the country as well as the institutions in charge of elections including the national actors involved in the electoral process and the representatives of the international community.

Djibouti, 19 February 2018 – H.E Mr. Anicet-Georges Dologuélé, former Prime Minister of the Central African Republic and Head of the Election Observation Mission of the African Union (AU) to the legislative elections of February 23, 2018 in the Republic of Djibouti, officially presided today, at the opening ceremony of the training workshop organised by the Department of Political Affairs of the AU prior to the elections.

Addis Ababa, 15 February 2018-In a bid to promote the Africa Games, the African Union Commission today signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Association of National Olympic Committees of African, the body that is entrusted with the organization and management of the African Games in collaboration with the Association of African Sports Confederation.

L’Union africaine déploie une mission d’évaluation des besoins en Assistance Electorale auprès de la CENI de la République de Madagascar

Addis-Abéba, le 12 février 2018. Le Département des Affaires Politiques de la Commission de l’Union Africaine (UA) en collaboration avec le Bureau de Liaison de l’Union africaine en République de Madagascar a déployé une mission d’évaluation des besoins en assistance électorale de la République de Madagascar du 11 au 17 février 2018.
