Dakar, 25 juillet 2017: La Commission de l’Union Africaine (CUA) annonce l’arrivée d’une Mission d’observation électorale, déployée sur invitation du Gouvernement de la République du Sénégal, dans le cadre du scrutin législatif du 30 juillet 2017 en République du Sénégal.

La Mission est déployée sur décision du Président de la Commission de l’Union Africaine (CUA), S.E. M. Moussa Faki Mahamat, pour observer et rendre compte du déroulement de ce processus électoral.

Addis Ababa- 28 July 2017 – The African Union Commission and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) have jointly launched a new global report, entitled World Food Assistance 2017: Taking Stock and Looking Ahead. The report, which is launched on 26 July 2017, shows how food assistance saves lives in humanitarian crises while addressing the root causes of hunger.

Addis Ababa, 21 July 2017- Latest results released by UNAIDS Thursday show that through shared responsibility and global solidarity Africa has made greater strides in the fight against AIDS and is on track to achieve set targets if investments are increased. The results come at a time of many competing development priorities and the levelling of development assistance for health. The African Union is pushing for increased domestic investment in health in the context of impressive rates of economic growth in many African countries.

Nairobi, Kenya 26th July 2017: The Consultation on the review of the two-year (2017-18) work plan of the AU-STC8 Sub-committee on Public Service and Administration (PsA) and Guidance for the development of Model Guidelines for the Reporting Mechanism on the Implementation of the African Charter on the Values and Principles of Public Service and Administration kicks of today 25th July 2017 in Nairobi, Kenya. This consultation opens the path towards implementing articles 23) 2. i.
