In collaboration with the PATTEC-Senegal, AU-PATTEC organized a regional training workshop on application of open source GIS in T&T projects in Dakar, Senegal from 21-27 May 2016. The beneficiaries of the regional training included eight participants from Benin, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Conakry, Mali, Niger, Senegal, and Togo who are linked to national projects and responsible for entomological and parasitological data collection and data analysis activities. Dr. Baba Sall, PATTEC-Senegal Coordinator, officially opened the workshop.

Nairobi, Kenya – 18 June 2018 – The Department of Trade and Industry of the African Union Commission is organizing from 18-22 June 2018 in Nairobi, the AU Experts Meeting on the Services Sector Development Program. The main objective of the workshop is to brainstorm with Services Experts from Regional Economic Communities (RECs) and the Private Sector on strategies to develop services trade sectors in order to support inclusive growth and development.

The 3rd Extra Ordinary Session of the Specialized Technical Committee (STC) on Justice and Legal Affairs in Dakar, Senegal from 5 to 7 June 2018: The Meeting of Legal Experts of the Specialized Technical Committee (STC) on Justice and Legal Affairs commenced on the 5th of June 2018 in Dakar, Senegal.

Addis Abeba, 08 June 2018 – Mr. Vang’Sy Claude Mounthault, as the first Representative of the Agency for Safety of Air Navigation in Africa and Madagascar (ASECNA) to AU presented his credentials to the Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission, H.E. Moussa Faki Mahamat at the AU Commission Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
