Le Président de la Commission de l’Union africaine, S.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, condamne avec la plus grande fermeté le double attentat survenu le 13 avril 2026 à Blida. Il exprime sa pleine solidarité avec le peuple et le gouvernement de la République algérienne démocratique et populaire.

Il adresse ses sincères condoléances aux familles des victimes, exprime sa profonde compassion et souhaite un prompt rétablissement aux blessés.

Discussions reaffirmed a strengthened Africa–Europe partnership, focusing on peace and security, multilateralism, and G7/G20 alignment, with emphasis on African-led solutions, constitutional order, UNSC reform, and cooperation on climate, energy, and health.

The AUC Chairperson takes note of the official results announced by Djibouti’s electoral authority, which confirmed the outcome of the presidential election.

He commends the people of Djibouti for their peaceful participation in the electoral process, underscoring their continued commitment to democratic governance, national cohesion, and stability.
