At a defining moment for Africa’s infrastructure development trajectory, the African Union Commission (AUC), in collaboration with the Government of the Republic of South Africa, will convene the Fifth Session of the Specialised Technical Committee on Transport and Energy from 27 to 30 April 2026 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

On the margins of the Third International #Sudan Conference in Berlin, co-hosted by the African Union (AU), the Chairperson of the AU Commission, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, met with the Africa Group of Ambassadors accredited to the Federal Republic of Germany.

He provided a comprehensive briefing on the AU’s strategic priorities, ongoing institutional reform efforts, and the Union’s diplomatic and mediation engagements on regional situations.
