DDR efforts (focused largely on BTVET) are described and explored and challenges both with the structural organisation and eligibility and exclusion criteria for benefits provided under the programme are identified. Review of support provided in Rwanda to disabled ex-combatants where a specific and comprehensive programme of benefits were pit in place to assist their reintegration - including health, social and subsistence support.
