REMINDER Online Registration for Journalists to the Second Africa Climate Summit (ACS2)
Theme: “Accelerating Global Climate Solutions: Financing for Africa's resilient and Green” Development.
The Information and Communication Directorate (ICD) of the African Union Commission (AUC) hereby announces that the online registration for journalists interested to cover the Second Africa Climate Summit scheduled to take place from 8-10 September 2025 in Addis Ababa, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has been launched on the AU website.
Journalists are advised to register through the following link: https://accreditation.au.int/en/form/second-africa-climate-summit
The meetings are scheduled to take place as follows:
- 5th - 7th September 2025: ACS Pre Summit-Events
- 8th -10th September 2025: Second Africa Climate Summit
The media advisory note can be accessed on the link: https://au.int/sites/default/files/newsevents/mediaadvisories/45135-MA-Media_Advisory_Note_ACS2_Final.pdf regarding the media coverage details and arrangements for the Second Africa Climate Summit.
Journalists will be able to cover all the open sessions physically and/or through the dedicated virtual link, which will be provided in due course. A detailed agenda and program of the meetings will be made available soon.
