What: Unveiling Ceremony of the Statute of Emperor Haile Selassie.
Who: This event is organized by the African Union.
When: The statue will be unveiled during the Assembly of the Heads of State and Government on Sunday, 10th February 2019 starting at 11:00 a.m.
Where: AU New Complex, African Union HQ.
Why: The commemorative statue of Emperor Haile Selassie is an important
recognition of the Emperor’s contribution to Africa’s liberation and unity
leading up to the founding of the Organization of African Unity in 1963.
