1) May 11, 2015 – May 14, 2015 Support on Setting up of Internet Exchange Point in Mauritius

African Union Commission (AUC) provided technical support to setup Internet Exchange Point (IXP) in Port Louis, Mauritius from 11-15 May2015.

Through the support of the African Internet Exchange System (AXIS) Project, the setting up of IXP has been facilitated by providing a series of the following capacity building workshops:
• Capacity building on Best Practice and benefits of establishing IXP
• Capacity building on Technical Aspects of setting up, operating and administering an IXP

The necessary equipments to start an IXP has been also donated.
