Forth Joint Consultative Meeting of AU- Peace and Security Council and EU Political and Security Committee

10 May 2011, Addis Ababa-The Peace and Security Council (PSC) of the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Invites journalists to the opening ceremony of the Fourth Annual Joint Consultative meeting between the African Union Peace and Security Council and the European Union Political and Security Committee tomorrow, Wednesday 11 May 2011 at 09:00am, at the African Union Headquarters, followed by a Press Conference at 5:00pm.

The meeting is expected to exchange views with the European Union Political and Security Committee on African conflict and crisis situations as well as on ways and means to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions.

The Press Conference will be addressed by co-chairs- Ambassador Olof Skoog, Permanent Chair of EU Political and Security Committee (PSC) and Ambassador Lungile C. Pepani, Ambassador of South Africa.

Journalists are invited to attend the opening session at 9:00am and the press conference at 5:00pm, at the AU Headquarters.
