PRESS CONFERENCE OF COMMISSIONER BIENCE GAWANAS

Mrs. Bience Gawanas, Commissioner for Social Affairs of the African Union Commission (AUC) will, on Saturday 29 January, at 11:30, hold a press conference at Media Center of the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Holding within the framework of the 16th Summit of the African Union, Commissioner Gawanas will address the following issues:

· Human trafficking

· Drug trafficking and abuse

· African Cultural Renaissance

· Update on child welfare in Africa
