9th steering Committee Meeting of African Internet Exchange System Project in Abuja, Nigeria.
The 9th Steering Committee Meeting of the African Internet Exchange System Project took place on 28 July 2016 at headquarters of ECOWAS in Abuja, Nigeria.
The steering Committee met to discuss the implementation progress & challenges and to provide a strategic advice on the way forward. The members has also visited Abuja Point of presence of Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria. Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria is one of the 8 IXPs supported with grants by AXIS Project so far to grow into Regional Internet Exchange Point.
Steering committee meetings takes place every 6 month.
