The objective of the assignment is to produce the content of the commemorative book on AU peace and security efforts toward Silencing the Guns that will demonstrate the impact of the implementation of the aspiration and goals of the African Union for a peace and secure continent. The book intends also to uniquely reflect on how the efforts by the AU to Silence the Guns in Africa, has impacted the lives of the citizenry in particular women and youth as well as captures the exceptional efforts of individuals and civil society organizations, towards a peaceful and secure Africa.
