Availability of FREE video and photo coverage FOR MEDIA COVERING THE EU-AU SUMMIT

The summit of the European Union and the African Union leaders will take place on Thursday 17 and Friday 18 February 2022 in Brussels, Belgium. Journalists are notified that live and on demand video and photo coverage of the EU -AU Summit will be available. Live coverage will include:

  • Day 1: live arrivals and doorsteps, official welcome, opening ceremony, arrivals at the dinner venue (evening)
  • Day 2: live arrivals and doorsteps, closing ceremony, press conference.

The content will be available in the following formats:

  1. Live streaming (web quality) will be available at: https://video.consilium.europa.eu   
  2. On demand (photo/video downloads): https://council.eu/tv
  3. For broadcasters: 

Eurovision News Events will be distributing the 2 Host Broadcaster pool signals (main and secondary feeds) live via satellite; which will be accessible to all, free of rights and free of charge. Attached are the satellite parameters and synopsis for the African zone.
