H.E. Mr. Guang Cong, the UN Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the African Union Commission. They took the opportunity to exchange on the situation in the Horn of Africa & reaffirmed that AU–UN partnership as a cornerstone for advancing peace, stability, & development.
The Chairperson congratulated Mr. Cong on his appointment and expressed appreciation to H.E @HannaTetteh, his predecessor for her dedicated service & contributions to strengthening AU–UN cooperation.
