H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the AU Commission, this morning joined H.E. @vonderleyen & H.E. José Lima Massano, Angola’s Minister of Economic Coordination, at the AU-EU Business Forum on the margins of the 7th AU-EU Summit in Luanda.
Chairperson Youssouf underscored that Africa brings not only vast resources to this partnership, but also demographic dynamism, technological ambition, & a vibrant generation of innovators. Europe can contribute capital, technology, & institutional cooperation. By aligning these strengths around shared priorities that include digital transformation & youth empowerment, both continents can shape a more prosperous future.
Mr Youssouf concluded by emphasising the need for scaled, predictable, & equitable financing to fully realise this potential.
