Over the years, PIDA has achieved impressive and tangible results, prioritizing regional infrastructure projects in transport, energy, water, and ICT sectors to foster robust interconnectivity across Africa. Launched in 2012 during the 18th Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, PIDA is a long-term initiative set to run through 2040, poised to significantly transform the continent’s infrastructure landscape.

Founded in 2015, PIDA Week has evolved into a crucial platform for stakeholders to drive the continent’s infrastructure agenda forward. PIDA Week 2024 is poised to be a landmark event, dedicated to showcasing the remarkable progress and successes achieved across the and its diverse stakeholders. This gathering will serve as a platform to strengthen multilateral cooperation, bringing together various entities committed to the preparation and implementation of vital infrastructure projects across the continent.
